Description
The Mark of Healing
- Stationary cupping produces discolorations on the skin that can last for several hours to a maximum of 2 weeks, depending on the amount of toxin present in the area and duration of time left on In no way are these marks bruises or burns. Cupping is not painful. These marks are stagnant fluids being drawn to the surface and allowing for new fresh circulation in the area.
- When injury or toxins are present in deep muscle there can be scar tissue, and lack of circulation and lymph drainage. This can result in pain, dysfunction and other conditions in which cupping can assist your body in relieving.
- Cupping may cause typical reactions common to massage and detoxifying body treatments. These include but are not limited to: tiredness, hunger, mild nausea, increased elimination, and mild soreness. Most of these can be avoided by following the aftercare protocol provided.
